What brought you to Fanshawe?

I was looking to advance my career and decided to work on my Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing. Fanshawe was close to home and offered evening classes, so I could continue to work while completing my certificate.

Tell us about your favourite Fanshawe experience.

Meeting so many different people in my courses was awesome! I made connections with people already working in occupational health nursing, as well as people like myself, who wanted to learn some new nursing skills. We were like one big family who got together regularly!

What impact has Fanshawe had on your life?

While I have not actually worked fully in occupational health nursing, what I learned has enabled me to contribute to my current workplace experiences. As well, I met so many people in my program, one of whom I discovered is a neighbour, and we remain in contact to this day!

What are you up to now?

I am currently a manager with Huron Perth Public Health.
