What brought you to Fanshawe?

Since I started high school I knew I wanted to study abroad. I was convinced on leaving my home country (Panama) to study in Canada. I had heard wonderful things about the quality of education in Canada and when the time came to apply, I didn't think about it twice.

Tell us about your favourite Fanshawe experience.

My favourite Fanshawe experiences was helping out at the Fanshawe Live - Dundas Place event and the Distinguished Alumni Awards in Toronto. These events were incredibly exciting to be part of and I am so thankful to have been part of them.

What impact has Fanshawe had on your life?

I have grown personally professionally by studying and working at Fanshawe. I am proud to say I've worked at the Reputation and Brand Management office as a PR intern and the Fanshawe Alumni office as an Alumni Relations Assistant. I am very grateful for these work experiences, it helped me jump start my career and helped me grow as a person.

What are you up to now?

I am an International Communications Asssitant for Fanshawe's International office and I volunteer as a Digital Content Liaison for IABC London.
