What brought you to Fanshawe?
I had moved to London, and I wanted to change careers. I applied for office administration to get my foot in the door and learn more skills on the job.
Tell us about your favourite Fanshawe experience.
Despite having two young children including one who wasn't even a year old, I graduated at the top of my class and on the president's honour roll. I particularly appreciated learning from the highly skilled and passionate instructors.
What impact has Fanshawe had on your life?
After graduation, I started as an Administrative Assistant at a nonprofit organization, and 18 years later, I am the Program Manager. Fanshawe taught me the value of continuous professional development. Never stop learning!
What are you up to now?
I am a Program & Development Manager for a family resource centre. I oversee programs, community development, and communications. I enjoy giving back to my Fanshawe community by volunteering as a mentor to current students - I learn as much from them as they learn from me.
